Hi Manon, your photos look great! I like the lighting you achieve in your first photo, I can't even tell that the flash was used, which is in my opinion probably a good thing. Your late afternoon outside photo is really good, and I like the focus on the subject, and the composition is good in general. Your light and shadow composition is great as well, and the lines run the eye across the image nicely to focus on the shadow of the outstretched hand. Your last photo is good as well with the focus staying on the birdhouse and the background being blurred. You achieved good lighting for the cloudy weather as well. Great job so far, I'm sure your part 2 will be great as well!
